A message from Summit.

With the New Year upon us we have a new beginning. With January 1st comes a new year. What will you do with it? Are you apprehensive? Unsure what the New Year has in store for you? Do you want to start the New Year off on the right foot but are not sure how? Well Summit has good news for you.

There is someone who is interested in you, all you are and all you can ever become. This person accepts you just like you are no strings attached. Who is this person? Jesus Christ!

The bible tells us that Jesus came to seek and to save all those who are lost. Have you lost your way? Are you trudging through life without hope or love? Jesus loves you!

Our calendar began with the birth of Christ and he has had an impact on all of society ever since. Jesus can and will instill in your life a reason to live. Jesus can give you an indescribable happiness even when circumstances are sad.

But I’m not a bad person, you say. Why do I need Jesus in my life? Being unhappy in a world such as ours should come as no surprise.

Being good will not get you entrance into heaven and eternal life with God. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior will.

The Bible tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No one is exempt. The Bible also tells us there is only one way to God and that is through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, “I am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father (God) accept through me.”

How do you accept Jesus into your life?

It is very easy. Jesus did all the work. He came to earth, died on a cross, took on the entire sin of our world, went to hell, defeated death and rose again and ascended into heaven to sit at the right-hand side of God.

All you have to do is accept the work Jesus did for you.

By acknowledging you are a sinner; accepting the fact you need a savior; asking him to come into your life and make you a new person will allow Jesus to enter into your life.

Jesus tells us in the Bible, All those that confess with their mouth and believe in their heart, that Jesus is the Son of God, he will in no wise cast out but will give them eternal life.

That means you when you die you will go to be with Jesus in heaven; forever.

If you ask Jesus into your life please let me know. Just send me a message at gerb@gate-way.net. Remember I will be praying that God will help you in whatever circumstances you find yourself.
